SAT power transformer 66-420 kV

NEKA offers Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and diagnostics of power transformers and bushings from 66 kV to 420 kV. The tests verify that the transformer has been transported, installed and commissioned without damage or deviations, and that it meets applicable specifications before energizing.

Through comprehensive electrical tests, any faults in windings, insulation systems, tap changers or mechanical structure can be detected at an early stage. This contributes to increased operational reliability, reduced risk of breakdowns and documented quality upon handover of the plant.

NEKA performs the following SAT tests, among others:

1. Capacitance and dissipation factor (tan δ)

2. Winding resistance and on-load tap changer (OLTC) analysis

3. Turnover ratio (TTR)

4. Short-circuit impedance and leakage reactance (FRSL)

5. Insulation resistance and polarization index (IR/PI)

6. Sweep Frequency Response Analysis (SFRA)

7. Dielectric response analysis (DFR)

8. Magnetizing current

9. Implementation tests (C1/C2 and tan δ)

10. Functional testing of monitoring and protection systems
